Ikani is the Principal Counsel at Ikani Agabi and Associates, He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a non-practising Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He possesses extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, especially in the area of Commercial Litigation and Arbitration and also advises banks on regulatory issues and bank customers, on the incidence of the bank customer relationship. Ikani is a trained facilitator in personal and professional management skills. He has worked with the Centre for Advancement of Learning and Teaching, University College London since 2005 as a facilitator, organising trainings and workshops for students of the University of London on personal and professional management skills. In 2009 Ikani organised a two-day training workshop for all the lecturers of the Nigerian Law School, on facilitation as a method of learning and teaching. Ikani works with law firms on developing systems and processes for law office management and for personal and professional development. He developed a case review and management system for Kanu G. Agabi (SAN) & Associates and trained lawyers of D.D. Dodo (SAN) & Co. on Presentation skills. In January 2015, he conducted a training on organising successful academic conferences for PhD students of the University of London.
